This leading Cambridge media technology company seeks an enthusiastic and talented C# Software Developer with experience developing responsive web services. The client works at the forefront of the media and entertainment industries; their software products are used by a number of well-known brands in the US and Europe, in application areas as diverse as film, TV, retail, publishing, aerospace and government.

The successful Software Developer will be enthusiastic and bright with an excellent approach to good software programming techniques and commercial experience. For more experienced candidates, the successful Software Developer will contribute to architecture design.

Applicants will be able to show a good educational background, including a relevant degree from a well-ranked university and most of the following attributes and skills:

• Commercial experience programming in C# (you may currently be programming in another similar language but have knowledge of and desire to work in C#). ASP.NET (MVC) or comparable experience is welcome.
• An understanding of microservices, cloud-based services, RESTful APIs and, ideally, scalability.
• Experience of the full software development lifecycle including use of version control and bug tracking systems (such as Git, Jira).
