A chance to apply your C++ to audio systems

This is a C++ software development role with a small and stable company. You will be involved in the full development cycle applying your C++ skills from user interfaces to APIs. Target platforms are both Mac and PC, also the company makes its own dedicated DSP hardware.

You will possess at least a 2.1 degree in a technical subject from a world class university and typically have several years commercial experience. Also you should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Proven commercial aptitude for coding in C++
  • Ability to contribute to system level design and architecture
  • Experience of STL
  • Exposure to various source control systems
  • Cross platform development (Mac & PC)

To enjoy full involvement across the development you should also have experience in:

  • Some mathematical ability for DSP algorithm implementation
  • Exposure to UI development
  • Understanding of different software protection methods

This is an excellent opportunity for a C++ Software Engineer with a passion for audio to transition to a new area in audio systems. To be able to excel at this role you will have some interest in the music industry or musical ability, hence have the right aptitude and understanding when analysing a new feature. Obviously previous experience of developing software for audio systems is beneficial.
