Image and video processing on dedicated software

This small profitable company requires an Image Processing Software Developer to join their extremely strong technical team designing imaging algorithms and developing software for complex products. The company develop innovative solutions that process sensor information and create displays that combine real-time video with graphical overlays.

Ideally you will have three years or more commercial experience as a C++ Software Engineer and possess a good technical degree from a top university. Exposure to both Linux and Windows platforms is preferable, with some knowledge of C#. Currently the company uses both C++ and C#, with the use of C# increasing.

This is a great opportunity to expand your experience into image processing technologies. The position will also give you exposure at all levels from the hardware to the upper levels of the software. Previous experience of embedded real-time systems will be a bonus, but certainly not essential.

It is expected there will be customer exposure from time to time with some opportunities for overseas travel. Preference will be given to UK based candidates who can obtain security clearance, should the role require it in the future.

This is an excellent opening to work in a company created and still managed by the original founders. They are situated in a pleasant modern building in a countryside location with the benefit of a shared café onsite, and offer an excellent salary with a performance-related bonus and other benefits.
