Expert Application Developer (25482)
We are seeking Expert Application Developer to lead the complete reengineering of a complex software application, with responsibility for both the software design and also for growing and leading the development team and for modernising development processes within the company.
You would be joining a successful established company who are seeking an engineer with a broad technical capability and a track record of delivering elegant and scalable designs that make appropriate use of modern tools and technologies. Naturally you’ll be a clear and persuasive communicator who can gain acceptance for new ideas and new ways of working. You’ll have the patience and attention to detail to tease hidden requirements from a legacy C codebase and the creativity to invent (from scratch) newer, better solutions that can deliver optimum performance, and user experience.
You will need:
- A 1st or 2.1 in Computer Science or similarly applicable subject from a leading university
- Excellent software design and coding skills including such technologies as C#, Java, .NET, SQL Server, Spring, SaaS, continuous integration/test, and version control
- Full existing right to work in the UK without sponsorship
A solid grasp of C would be helpful but is not essential.
Why not take your design skills and your career to the next level by building a team and driving the design and delivery of a complex and challenging project? This role features a highly competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and is located in modern offices in London’s Docklands.
