Mechanical Engineering / Physics / Product Design; Leading Tech Consultancy

An excellent opportunity to join a small but growing, high-powered technical consultancy based near Cambridge. Our client works for household names across a number of sectors – this role concentrates on medical device development.

You will be a mechanical engineer, physicist, or possibly product engineer, capable of leading multidisciplinary projects that solve complex technical problems to support the development of novel medical devices.

For this demanding role, you will have significant commercial experience in a technical consultancy or relevant product company, plus:

  • a good, relevant degree from a leading university
  • skills in creative problem solving
  • a track record of managing medical device design and development projects
  • working within ISO 13485 and risk management processes of ISO 14971, or FDA equivalent
  • practical, hands-on skills
  • excellent communication abilities
