Robotics Engineer (25617)

Our client is recruiting for a bright, creative and high performing engineer / physicist to join a team specialising in designing innovative and complex robotic technology, used in surgical applications. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering fundamentals and preferably some commercial experience in medical product development.

As part of an interdisciplinary team of physicists, mechanical engineers, electronics engineers and software engineers, you will work on high precision robotic solutions. The work embraces the whole development cycle, from conceptual design thru theoretical analysis, mathematical modelling, prototyping, and lab testing, to product design and transfer to manufacture. Your efforts will produce elegant and novel solutions and make a genuine difference to users’ lives.

You must have an excellent degree in engineering or physics from a world class university; in addition, a PhD related to precision robotics would be an advantage. You are also likely to have experience working on medical product development, commercial preferred.
