Environment, Health and Safety Consultant (25643)
This is an interesting, challenging and social role for a graduate or experienced professional with a background and qualifications in Environment, Health and Safety. The company works on a diversity of projects across a variety of engineering sectors in their laboratories and offices. Each project brings new challenges in terms of the environmental and health and safety concerns for the company.
You’ll join a friendly, accessible and experienced EHS team who take a collaborative and involved “hands on” approach to environmental health and safety matters. You’ll engage with people whose roles involve managing projects, laboratories and facilities, as well as with staff across the business.
You and your team will have ultimate responsibility for the policies and procedures which need to be put in place, but won’t lose sight of the people focus. You’ll guide, advise and train staff on the best possible practices to follow. Together you’ll make the business a continuing success.
Your background will include:
- A good degree in an engineering subject from a reputable university, and strong A-level grades
- Environment, Health and Safety qualifications from a UK-recognised board, to a level befitting your seniority
- Demonstrable experience in this field; if you’re newer to it, ECM will review CVs on a case by case basis
- Knowledge of appropriate regulations and legislation, as well as risk assessment technique
You’ll also be a great communicator and someone who really enjoys your work in EHS, and takes a practical and adaptable approach. As you’ll be joining others who do!
