A part-time position, office based post COVID19

This company has chosen to offer a part-time position for someone with both C# and embedded software skills. It's a fantastic opportunity to join a small development team developing software for high value scientific instrumentation. The bulk of the software will be in C# / VisualStudio running on a PC. This in turn interfaces with dedicated instrumentation hence the need for understanding embedded software.

Ideally you will have some commercial experience as a C# Software Engineer and possess a good technical degree from a top university. Exposure to Windows platforms is preferable, along with some knowledge of embedded programming.

A great chance to expand your knowledge of either C# or embedded programming depending on which is your weaker skill. The position will give you exposure at all levels from the hardware to the upper levels of the software.

Keywords: Visual studio C#, Embedded C/C++, Keil ARM, MPLAB, STM Cortex-M microcontroller, embedded Linux, Cambridge
