Putting ARM processors to a new use

This is a broad systems role from evaluating hardware to developing the device drivers and Linux based application software. It is a senior position with responsibility to architect and develop software for their new green low energy products.

As a Device Driver Developer you will have good Linux Kernel experience and an excellent understanding of hardware especially bringing new boards up. Your commercial experience in this area will be backed up by excellent grades and a top technical degree from a well-known and respected university.

In summary you will posses most of the following:

  • Excellent knowledge of embedded C and some C++
  • Outstanding Linux Kernel knowledge and implementation of device drivers
  • Working knowledge of Pcie device drivers
  • Experience of debugging low level hardware
  • Good working knowledge of ARM processors
  • System-level evaluation and benchmarking would be a bonus
