Test Engineer (25672)

Will be office based post COVID19, remote initially

This is a broad systems test role, from early R&D prototypes testing to evaluating how to test hardware in a production environment. You will be creating the software tests to prove the functionality of the hardware for their new green low energy products. Hence it is essential you have a reasonable understanding of electronics.

As a Test Engineer you will have good system test experience and knowledge of how to test new hardware designs. Your commercial experience in this area will be backed up by a technical degree from a well-known and respected university.

In summary, you will posses most of the following:

  • Excellent knowledge of embedded C and some C++
  • Experience of developing test cases in Python
  • Linux test environment knowledge
  • Working knowledge of benchmarking techniques
  • Exposure to RESTful APIs
  • Good working knowledge of networking
  • Experience working in an Agile team for a start-up
