Software Applications Consultant (25715)

This software company develops bespoke lab automation software tools used in the life science industry including biopharmaceuticals and drug discovery companies. They have main offices in central London with further sites in the US and in Europe.

They currently seek an Applications Consultant to join their team to provide support for their customers based around the world. This role will be with their London team and would require some travel around the world (when restrictions are lifted). In the first instance, work is being done remotely with occasional in person meetings.

Requirements:

• Degree in maths, computer science, engineering or physics (other highly numerate subjects will be considered) from a highly reputable university.
• Industry experience in a technical customer facing role working on customer data management or software solutions.
• Experience with relational databases systems including writing SQL. Exposure to Oracle would be highly desirable.
• Good understanding of Windows desktop systems.

As well as the technical skills, good communications (written and spoken) and the ability to work on varied projects are required. This should include how to prioritise work and to make decisions when required. The company provide an excellent remuneration package including a range of benefits.
