Calling all C / C++ Software Engineering Enthusiasts

We are seeking a true coding enthusiast who enjoys the challenge of creating well-designed software, whether for a job or as a hobby. If you have substantial hobby projects or open-source contributions with source code you can share, then this role may be for you!

You would be joining a small team of software engineers in Central Cambridge working on high performance Linux-based software. This role is with a dynamic and successful early-stage company who are expand their development to meet demand for new features and expansion into new markets.

As a C++ developer, you would be instrumental in creating entirely new exciting features for their Linux-based connectivity software, and getting involved in areas such as algorithm development, data structure design, networking, compilers, advanced build systems, and kernel development.

Essential:

  • A must-have for this role is a substantial hobby project in C++ or C whose code you can share
  • Full right to work in the UK without time limit or restriction or sponsorship
  • A degree in a STEM subject from a well-respected university
    For bonus points:
  • Scripting skills, preferably with Python or Lua

An advantage of joining at an early stage is that the role will offer the opportunity to get involved with all aspects of their software and to broaden both your technical and your leadership skills as the company grows.
