Developing instruments and sensors for primarily medical applications

This highly successful technical consultancy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer who combines excellent scientific understanding with hands-on practical acumen. Our client develops innovative high-precision products and systems for a range of blue-chip companies, working at all project stages from concept through design and implementation.

Candidates will have an excellent Master’s degree (1st or 2.1 from a highly-ranked university) with A*/A at A level; you may also have completed a PhD. You should be able to demonstrate some project experience in mechanical design of high-precision sensors or devices. Candidates who can display an enthusiasm for engineering through their outside projects are of particular interest.

As a technical consultancy, the client is looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, whether talking to external customers or expressing ideas within your own project team.
