Creative and diverse interactive software, not a web agency, and remote working

This internationally renowned high-tech production company are creators of the latest in modern full stack web apps delivered via tablet, phone and desktop. They are seeking a skilled full-stack web developer to play a key role in their team.

Do you:

  • Enjoy working with creative colleagues on a diverse range of projects, with something new always round the corner?
  • Like the sound of putting cutting-edge, interactive experiences into the hands of some of the world’s most successful people?

You'll have front-end skills in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. You don't need to be a designer, since you'll be working with them; but you will be someone who can bring those designs to life.

You will be skilled creator of well structured, component-based server-side code. That could be PHP with frameworks such as Symfony, or node.js, Python, C# with ASP.NET, or Ruby on Rails. You'll appreciate modern, clean code. You'll be familiar with cloud deployment (e.g. AWS), SQL (e.g. DynamoDB, MySQL) and Linux.

Initially you'll be remote working as part of their digital content team, and there is the option to continue full or partial remote working in the long term, with periodic visits to the office as required. The company is offering a generous salary with good holiday time and a competitive benefits package.

Should you visit the office, or prefer to work with colleagues there more of the time, you’ll be working in their stylish modern barn conversion in the countryside less than 20 miles from Cambridge. You’ll need a driving licence to get there, but there is a cafeteria on site and pubs and shops within easy reach on a lunchtime.

Whether remote or otherwise, candidates do need to be UK-based and have full existing UK work permission without time limit, restriction or sponsorship.
