This established company works with clients in the aerospace and defence sectors to provide research and development from idea generation through to complete product design. The cohesive team finds novel solutions to assorted technical challenges; these could be in autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity or sensing technologies – everything that could contribute to protecting the security of the country’s population.

This new role is for a Firmware or DSP Engineer to join their multidisciplinary team and work on cutting-edge technology for innovative projects.

You must have a degree in electronic engineering from a highly-ranked university with the ability to work beyond the purely technical and to encompass the broader skills essential to a vibrant consulting business.

You will also be able to show many of the following skills:-

  • Excellent knowledge of FPGA design and development including implementation in an HDL
  • DSP design and modelling
  • Hardware simulation, testing and debugging
  • Design with systems-on-chip
  • High speed digital design or embedded software development
  • Good communication and teamworking skills with the ability to contribute ideas

It is imperative that you have the ability to hold UK security clearance.
