Lead Engineer - Software for Quantum Computing (26026)
Companies talk about new technology all the time, but few are actually working on really cutting edge innovations. This company was conceived through university research, and are now on their commercial way to harness the power of quantum computing. As they grow, they have strategically taken on key people to lead different teams, and as they are now expanding their engineering prowess, they are keen to put in place a Lead Software Engineer to lead their growing software team.
The role will be one of the few lead engineer positions in the engineering team that includes software, electronics and quantum computing, and will be a technical reference point for their customers as well as an internal expert within their domain.
Requirements:
- Advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in computer science, electronics, or physics.
- Extensive experience within the software engineering industry including Agile leadership of a development team (project and line management).
- Hands on experience with Python and C++ for electronics / hardware related projects or within a deep tech area.
- Comfortable speaking to both technical lay audiences.
