Early Cambridge start-up opportunity

In this design and layout role you will apply your natural 3D mindset in creating the circuits for each component in the system using appropriate software tools. You will have responsibility for the manufacturing data bases / drawing, ensuring the components conform to the physical design rules required by the company's manufacturing partners.

You will possess a technical degree from a respected university and your skill base will include:

  • Layout and design of fine geometry RF PCBs
  • Close working with RF circuit and system designers for design of critical RF traces
  • Layout database completion and documentation for manufacture and assembly
  • Liaison with and day to day management of suppliers

In the role you will also be involved in layout and design of laminate-based RF IC packaging using flip chip. Along with getting prototypes designed and built in a start-up environment.

This is a great opportunity to join a young start-up early in their journey. As the Physical Design and Layout Engineer you will work closely with the CTO and the rest of the team. Due to the experimental nature of the company's work it will be primarily Cambridge office based reverting to home working when necessary.
