Applying DSP engineering knowledge on hardware applications

This is an excellent opportunity to start or progress your career in Digital Signal Processing technology. You will learn signal processing techniques for processing complex noisy signals and gain knowledge on data analytic approaches. This well-respected Cambridge start-up is targeting a variety of markets for their haptics related product. The markets include domestic products, automotive, medical and hand-held devices. The technology/application area is already proven but there is a vast market to explore.

As a DSP Engineer you will have a strong maths degree or similar from an outstanding university along with significant knowledge of the following:

  • Varied signal processing and algorithm design
  • Application of applied statistics, data science, applied mathematics
  • MATLAB and Python skills to prove your algorithms
  • Creating C code, ideally for embedded platforms

There are a few areas that give extra beneficial skills such as; design of algorithms to fit into resource-constrained systems, knowledge of ARM series processors and peripherals.

This is an exciting challenge for an algorithm developer to work alongside a more experienced engineer to form a small DSP team within this leading-edge start-up. They offer excellent potential for professional growth and a competitive salary with bonus, stock options and pension.
