Lead Software Engineer (26813)

Based in Edinburgh, as a Lead Software Engineer, your role will include managing a small team of software engineers as well as providing technical direction through architecting and C++ development. Your work week could include recruitment of new software engineers, mentoring members of the current team, and strategic discussions to deliver engineered products.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics or similar.
• Demonstrable experience of the software product lifecycle including successful delivery to market.
• Experience of leading / managing a software development team.
• Good communication skills including how to motivate individuals, manage projects and ability to work collaboratively with other stakeholders.
• Specific experience in Cloud technologies would be desirable.

Additional exposure with electronic design platforms, analogue circuit design, and SQL databases would be beneficial.
