A wide-ranging tech role in modern DevOps tools development

In this principal-level role you’ll join a skilled, motivated team for whom product quality is paramount, from underpinnings to UX. Their top tier DevOps tools help well-known companies around the world succeed – more importantly, they’re keen to offer a great place to work.

As a principal developer you will help to drive and cultivate good practice, and bring your technical expertise to bear on a range of projects. You’ll gen up on their tech stack, contribute to strategy and future roadmaps, and share your experience whilst learning from others.

Relevant tech experience includes:

  • C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework
  • React and comparable modern JavaScript / TypeScript component-based approaches
  • Containers and orchestration, for example Docker, Kubernetes
  • AWS and comparable cloud offerings
  • Agile approaches and CI/CD through delivery/deployment

You’ll have solid software engineering expertise and be keen to continue these skills. You’ll be a problem solver, happy to approach complex problems and consider scale. Structure, testability, simplicity, maintainability and overall quality are important to you, as is self-improvement. You’ll be happy to dip into both front end and back end code. You’ll consider the user – and be happy to engage with them to make sure their needs are addressed.

A generous, negotiable salary is on offer to the right candidate along with flexible working options, 25 days holiday, a learning and development budget, pension and healthcare.
