Next-generation engineering projects for high voltage systems

Based in Oxfordshire, this growing company is looking to build their latest power system which will be at the cutting-edge of technology. Their multi-year development plan includes ambitions to build a world leading power platform that delivers advanced energy generation. With several years of relevant experience and domain-specific experts onboard, they are looking to recruit further.

As their next Power Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will be joining a pre-existing team. Your key responsibilities will include design and engineering (concept generation, simulations and technical reports); supplier engagement; prototyping (experimentation and testing); and community collaboration (attending conferences).

Requirements

  • Degree in Electronics, Engineering or Physics followed by demonstrable project experience with high voltage generation systems (including knowledge of pulsed power systems).
  • Understanding of relevant health and safety protocols around high voltage electronics.
  • Electrical / mechanical hands-on skills within a lab environment.
  • Experience with CAD design (SolidWorks) and electromagnetic simulations (COMSOL) would be highly desirable.
  • Full unrestricted rights to work in the UK.

This role is based onsite. Some flexibility in working times is possible. On offer is an excellent remuneration package including a wide range of benefits.
