Business development and account management for automotive electronics

A commercially-minded Technical Sales Engineer is being recruited to join this UK based team. They will develop and manage key accounts of UK and overseas clients. This will include developing new leads and providing technical know-how about the company’s automotive electronics products. Activities could include demonstrations, creating customer quotes, tracking sales, post-sales after-care, and liaising with US HQ on new products. The role will require some travel (UK, Europe and USA) to meet customers or attend conferences / exhibitions.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in electronics (or similar).
  • Commercial technical sales experience (ideally of electronics based products).
  • Working knowledge of automotive electronics. Specific experience with electric powertrain and high voltage applications would be desirable.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Good ability to empathise and negotiate.
  • Full valid UK driving licence.
  • Full, unrestricted rights to work in the UK – no company sponsorship is available.

On offer is a competitive salary with on target bonuses. Car allowance benefits could also be provided. The will be office based with hybrid working possible.
