Excellent career growth opportunities for high-performing graduates

This Berkshire-based company’s software is used by many household-name businesses to synchronise customer requirements, real-time data feeds and project tracking information. Their framework allows intuitive desktop and mobile applications to be built with ease, allowing seamless access to critical data and keep companies moving.

They develop in a C# .NET / JavaScript stack, with in-house support for development of new skills, and opportunity to gain experience early on with business development or client management as well. New starters will enjoy a very competitive remuneration package, which based on performance, can dramatically increase even within a couple of months!

This role involves tackling hard software engineering challenges, so you will need a good level of determination as well as a structured approach to solving problems. Academic excellence is a must for this role, although quality commercial software engineering experience will also be welcome.

As well as designing, implementing, and verifying new features, you will provide expertise to the support engineers as they investigate customer issues, and you may also directly work with customers, helping them get the best from the company’s software. Some business travel is to be expected.

You will need:

  • A strong academic background, with a 2.1 or above degree in a relevant STEM subject from a Russell Group university, backed up by mostly A*s and As at A-level (or equivalent)
  • Strong, demonstrable coding skills in relevant object-oriented languages (C#, JavaScript or similar) derived from internships, open-source contributions, or substantial personal software projects.
  • Full existing right to work in the UK without restriction, time limit, or sponsorship.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is keen to join a supportive dev team in their first position, or perhaps a candidate with some relevant commercial experience to move onto exciting new projects. This company places an emphasis on career development, providing initial training, and offering excellent scope for growing your technical skills portfolio and taking on further responsibility. A competitive salary and excellent benefits package are on offer for the successful candidate.
