Cross-disciplinary projects in engineering for robotics automation applications

Based in modern offices and engineering labs, this growing startup is looking to tackle life science problems around scaling of cellular therapies through use of sophisticated technology and automation. Their growing team is comprised of engineers within different disciplines who together collaborate and develop innovative solutions.

Could you be the next recruit?

As an Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll join the team and working on software designs for their embedded mechatronic system. This will involve system architecture, prototyping, implementation and test. You’ll work closely with electronics, systems and mechanical engineers and be comfortable handling electromechanical components.

Requirements:

  • You’ll likely have a degree in electronics or computer science but more importantly can demonstrate significant project experience working on embedded mechatronic systems.
  • You’ll have a high proficiency in embedded C, and probably some exposure to bare-metal programming of microcontrollers.
  • You’ll have experience with Python, C++ and C# for prototyping or general software engineering.
  • You’ll be familiar using debug probes and oscilloscopes, and can understand hardware schematics.
  • Your project experience should cover real time constraints and knowledge around microcontroller units (MCU) and associated peripheral interfaces (SPI, I2C and UART).

Interested candidates must be able to work without the need for company sponsorship and must be able to work onsite. The company will look to support careers and also provide an excellent remuneration package including a wide range of benefits including significantly enhanced pension, private medical and life insurance.
