Software Engineer (C# .NET Core) (27181)

Based in Cambridge, their team follows an eXtreme Programming (XP) approach, with minimal overhead so that developers can focus on the software engineering. Their software is based on C#, .NET Core, AWS, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and web technologies. This role focusses on C# development though there will be scope to expand your skills with involvement throughout the software stack. Teams are small and cross-disciplinary, so you will be working closely with test engineers and product owners as well as other software specialists.

Employee retention is outstanding, due in large part to a culture that believes in empowering and supporting engineers. A hybrid work pattern allows up to three days per week working remotely though employees need to live close enough to Cambridge to conveniently attend the office when needed (within about 45 minutes travel time).

You will need:

• A good degree in computer science or related discipline from a well-respected university
• Substantial experience developing commercial quality software with C# and .NET Core (exemplary experience with other C#-like languages may be considered)
• Front end coding skills
• Full existing and unrestricted right to work in the UK
• Reasonable proximity to Cambridge
