With the business growing, they are seeking an experienced Product Manager to proactively build relations with end customers and other stakeholders, help define the product direction, and foster internal collaboration.
The successful candidate will be an adaptable problem solver with a broad technical background in software or electronics that facilitates quickly coming up to speed with the product and the technology that underpins it. An enthusiastic worldwide traveller, they will relish opportunities to discuss the product with end customers and other stakeholders, to understand their respective needs and align them with the company's own strategic direction. Understanding the nuances of the business, they will be able to identify and mitigate risks, and to adapt quickly to change. Coordinating and motivating teams, tracking progress, planning market launches, and helping drive decision making, they will be key to the future success of the company.
Essential skills and attributes:
- A relevant technical degree from a well-respected university and ideally also a formal product management qualification or be able to show evidence of continuous personal development.
- A broad technical background including areas such as software engineering and electronic product development; happy to discuss technical aspects of the product in detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; willing and able to travel internationally to forge productive business relations with a diverse array of end users, marketer, engineers, and commercial partners.
- Ability to write clear and detailed technical documentation.
- Full existing right to work in the UK.
