Mechanical Design Engineer (27494)

With the clear goal to reduce the cost of life saving treatments and over 10-years’ experience working in this area they are confident in their approach and are now building up an engineering team to deliver their products quickly and at scale.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring designs are robust, reliable, and manufacturable. You will be working on anything from small-scale precision electro-mechanical devices through to large-scale automated manufacturing systems. Your role is critical to ensuring these systems can be produced at scale and perform reliably, both key to driving down the cost of this new class of medical treatments.
Requirements:
- Industrial experience designing, developing, and delivering products into manufacture
- Specific experience developing precision electro-mechanical devices or aseptic medical equipment
- Highly skilled with both analytical design techniques (e.g. tolerance analysis) and 3D CAD systems (ideally SolidWorks)
- Full and unrestricted rights to work in the UK without time limit
A background in medical devices, life science instruments, consumer products, automotive, or aerospace would be valuable, but is not required.
