Senior Electronics and Software Engineer (27547)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Electronics and Software Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary Cambridge-based team. Projects would be varied, and encompass a broad range of business sectors and application areas, for instance medical devices, consumer electronics, and scientific instrumentation. Technical disciplines might include electronics, mechanical design, software, and fluidic engineering.
This role will likely involve some client contact, and you should be a good communicator, able to build effective working relationships to aid project delivery and securing future business; however, the main focus will be on the engineering. As you progress in the role, you will have scope to take on responsibility for defining product architecture and / or leading product development teams.
You will need:
- A first or 2:1 in a relevant engineering subject from a leading university
- Electronic design and embedded software development skills demonstrated by previous successful product development projects
- Strong communications and organisational skills, and an interest in leading teams
- Full, pre-existing and unrestricted UK work permission
Expertise in medical device development or for another safety-critical application would be beneficial.
