Developing RF connectivity technology for smart devices

Working closely with IC design engineers, and systems and software teams, this RF Design Engineer will develop advanced multi-chip RF modules used to drive innovative wireless solutions. Key projects to work on include: designing RF front-end circuits and functional blocks; enable integration of digital electronic modules; optimise layouts; and balance performance with ease of manufacture.

Requirements:

  • Formal academic background in electronics (BEng / MEng) and extensive demonstrable experience developing RF modules / sub-systems for volume manufacture.
  • Expertise and experience of RF front-end modules including fundamentals such as impedance, harmonic behaviour and linearity.
  • Hands-on experience with RF simulations ideally ADS or Microwave Office.
  • High familiarity in the use of RF test equipment.

Applicants are expected to be able to work well in a team, with strong emphasis on communications and collaborative work.

Due to the expected work with electronics and hardware, expectation is that the role is mostly onsite with occasional home working when projects allow. On offer is an excellent compensation package include share options, private medical and enhanced pension contributions.
