C# WPF UI Developer (27680)

This successful firm produce simulation software for engineering. They are seeking a C# WPF UI Developer with strong Windows UI development skills, a focus on productivity and testing, and small company experience.

This is a long term career opportunity with an established small business with traditional values. It will suit a candidate seeking these qualities. The company have a strong product portfolio and secure client base. They offer a respectful workplace, where everyone’s contributions are important.

You would be a valued part of their dedicated UI team, and to support your getting up to speed quickly, detailed training materials will be provided.

The requirements:

  • Commercial-grade C# and WPF user interface development skills via .NET 6-10, .NET Framework 4.8 or .NET Core
  • Some knowledge of C++ desktop UI, e.g. MFC, for occasional legacy work
  • User interface design ability, considering the customer use case
  • The skill and inclination to work rapidly, towards the immediate needs of the business, and to a high standard including thorough testing
  • Keen to participate in technical training and review their excellent documentation

Given the strong office culture, you will already be resident in the Cambridge area, or have strong ties here. You will have full existing long term UK work permission without visa sponsorship. Situated within cycling distance of north Cambridge, the company’s offices also offer plenty of parking on site.
