Are you a software developer looking for your next career move? Know your way around Java and its common frameworks and libraries? Eager for a new challenge with a successful and growing fintech start-up? Look no further: this may be the perfect opportunity for you!
This company has established a market-changing software product, implementing machine-learning and innovative AI techniques to bring in a new paradigm in the provision of financial services. They are looking for a bright Java developer with a proven track record of success and achievement, likely having excelled in your first position from university, and hungry for new challenges.
Successful candidates will need to demonstrate:
- a superb academic background, with at least a recent 2.1 in Computer Science (or equivalent) from a top-ranked university;
- an excellent understanding of Java – you’ll know why the language works, not just what a command does;
- expertise in a number of frameworks and libraries, with further knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure etc.) being a big bonus;
- familiarity with modern dev practices, including source control / CI, Agile or TDD.
On offer for the right candidate is an outstanding salary, with a strong benefits package and opportunities for further bonuses or stock options. Based in modern and spacious offices in Oxford, this is an excellent opportunity for those who want to be in at the roots of a new technology frontier. Only candidates with closely matching CVs can be considered for this role, and we regret that we can only put forward candidates who have existing permission to work in the UK, without restriction or limitations, already in place.
