Experimental Physicist (24393)
This highly innovative company develops ground breaking instrumentation and machines. Concentrating on applied rheology, this group seeks a highly capable Experimental Physicist to work in a wide ranging role which includes advancing fundamental understanding and developing new technologies.
With solid commercial experience in a scientific, R&D or product development role you must have a 1st or 2:1 degree in Physics or a related discipline from a university with an excellent reputation in your subject (a PhD would be an advantage); a solid understanding of at least two of the following: electrostatics, electrophoretics, colloids, microfluidics; you will be a hands-on experimentalist with good analytical skills; have excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate complex ideas in a straightforward manner and to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels; and be proactive and self-motivated with ability to work effectively in teams in a focussed industrial research environment.
