Azure Operations Engineer (24449)

Join a successful financial software services company and play a key role provisioning and managing their Azure cloud systems, and providing infrastructure for continuous deployment.

You’ll participate in design and development discussions and liaise with stakeholders around cloud systems architecture, engineering, operations and release. You’ll stay up to speed on practices and processes including around security. From this involvement you’ll be well placed lend your expertise to the management of cloud server instances and deployment integration to them.

Your concise CV will show your:

• Good degree (1st or 2:1) in computing or a related subject from a reputable university, and strong A-level grades
• Experience as an operations engineer working commercial with Azure
• Understanding of Azure resources and groups, Azure Active Directory (AD), Azure Resource Manager (aka Azure ARM) template creation, group policy (GPOs) and security concerns
• Skill with PowerShell scripting

You’ll also have experience with a good number of the following: Visual Studio, TFS or VSTS, C#, SQL Server, IIS, SharePoint, Hyper-V / VMWare. Experience with containers and orchestration is beneficial.
