Director of Operations (24648)

This independent Cambridge hardware and software company design and produce electronics and firmware for connected devices. They are seeking an operations director who will have a focus on their supply chain in addition to a broader remit.

Along with a top degree from an excellent university, and continuous relevant commercial experience in the semiconductor industry, your CV will demonstrate your capability to:

• Lead and manage the operations team for all engineering groups, including product, quality, support and logistics
• Coordinate their supply chain globally with a view to the IC manufacture, including addressing quality, environmental standards, ethics, reliability of delivery and cost reduction
• Coordinate NPI from DFT and tape out through to production, including end of life considerations
• Ensure support staff are able to give clients’ good information about quality initiatives

This role will involve regular international travel in pursuit of new and ongoing business relationships.
