With continued success, this leading company now seeks additional high calibre Linux Kernel / Device Driver Software Engineers to work within a real "techie" environment alongside very bright and motivated Embedded C software design / development engineers. As a Senior / Linux Developer / Linux Kernel Software Engineer, you will work on the design and implementation of network drivers for next generation network controllers - programming in C and ideally assembler on occasion. You should be able to tackle complex system level problems (both functional and performance related) demonstrating a solid knowledge of relevant Linux debug techniques and tools.

As an experienced Linux Software Developer, you would have worked on Linux Device Driver / Kernel applications at the hardware / software interface involving Networking in some capacity, programming in C ideally on Linux kernel components.

Relevant experience would include:

  • Good qualifications from a well ranked university
  • Extensive Linux knowledge – including Linux kernel and device drivers
  • Hardware/software co-design and understanding of server system architectures (e.g. PCI-
  • express)
  • Ethernet & TCP/IP
  • Embedded systems
