Building hack-proof electronics for a global leader in data security

Join this world-class hardware development team and play a leading role in bringing to market new products which will underpin a range of exciting data security applications. You would be working in collaboration with Product Managers and stakeholders from across the business to refine requirements and evolve initial concepts into finished designs. You would be involved at all stages of the Agile development process, participating in cycles of design, build, and review in order to arrive at the best, most robust solutions possible.

Your hard work, skill and experience would be put to good use, helping protect some of the world's most sensitive data. This would also be in a great place to build your skills, working alongside domain experts in electronics and cybersecurity, and moving your career forward with a company that puts employee development and flexible modern working practises at the core of their values.

Required skills and Experience

  • A 1st or 2:1 degree in Electronic Engineering or closely related subject from a well-ranked university
  • Extensive experience in developing high performance embedded systems including technologies such as 32 or 64 bit processors, DSP's, FPGA's, ASSP's and high speed memory devices
  • Excellent ability to answer challenging requirements with creative designs and concepts
  • Proficiency in ECAD systems such as Altium, and a thorough understanding of areas such as regulatory standards, designing for EMC compliance, and design-for-manufacture

Based in spacious ultramodern offices conveniently close to the centre of Cambridge, the role attracts a competitive salary and benefits package including a substantial bonus scheme.
