Board-level design and development of ultra-secure hardware

We are seeking an Experienced Hardware Engineer with excellent board-level design experience. You would be involved in all stages of development: collaborating with product managers and other stakeholders to refine requirements and timescales, designing board layouts, prototyping hardware, and demonstrating works-in-progress at regular review meetings.

You would be working with a world-class development team as well as domain experts in data security to produce un-hackable products, robust enough to form the basis of applications such as secure data storage or financial services. This would also be in a great place to build your skills, moving your career forward with a company that places a high value on employee development and Agile working practices.

Required skills and Experience

  • A 1st or 2:1 degree in Electronic Engineering or closely related subject from a well-ranked university
  • Broad experience in developing high performance embedded systems using technologies such as 32 or 64 bit processors, DSPs, FPGAs, ASSPs and high speed memory devices.
  • Proficiency in ECAD systems (preferably Altium).
  • A good understanding of areas such as regulatory standards, EMC compliance, and design-for-manufacture

Based in spacious ultra-modern offices conveniently close to the centre of Cambridge, the role attracts a competitive salary and benefits package including a substantial bonus scheme.
