to £65k DoE

A new start-up working on cyber security

This is an exciting opportunity to tackle cyber threats against small companies by creating a high tech solution for everyday users. This particular role is more focused towards the server side of full stack development. Their main language is Golang, though significant experience in C or Python would enable you to transition over to Golang in the role. Significant experience in other high level languages would also be considered. You have probably worked with a recognised company for creating trustworthy, well tested code, and during your time there you will have picked up the attributes for developing stable software.

As the Senior Software Developer you will have a top engineering degree from a well-known and respected university. During your career you will have made significant use of OWASP and the articles and information they freely publish online about application security. You will have good working knowledge on how to deal with PC based malware. It will be beneficial to have experience developing software for Windows, MacOS and Linux platforms. Also at some point you will have created secure applications.

You will join a small startup tackling an issue that has been overlooked by the industry so far. As with small companies this position allows you to be self-sufficient tackling the whole project

Keywords: Python, C, Golang, OWASP, Malware, Ethical Hacker, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire.
