Building analysis solution tools for scalable problems

This software team develop scientific relevant tools based on algorithms used in bioinformatics, machine learning, signal processing and data analytics. Their commercially focused tools enable users to use highly accurate analytics. They are currently looking for a bright scientifically-minded software developer to join their team.

Requirements:

  • Good academic background (MSc or PhD level) in computer science, maths or similar numerate subject.
  • Good understanding and experience developing version controlled software and algorithms in C or C++.
  • Broad technical language familiarity with two or more of the following languages: Python, Java, C#, GoLang, JavaScript.
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL).
  • Further experience with cloud (AWS or Azure), devops (Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible) technologies would be desirable. Similarly, exposure to GPUs or hardware would be beneficial.

This is a collaborative team, so good communication skills are required. This includes the ability to understand requirements from non-software people applying highly numerate, scientific applications.
