AI applied cloud technology used in medical real-time software

Based just west of Cambridge, this purpose-led technology company has been garnering both industry acclaim and market approval for their innovative products. Due to growth of their scientific research team, they are looking to recruit a Computer Vision Engineer to join them.

Requirements:

  • 1st / 2.1 degree in Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics from a well-regarded university, ideally with a relevant Masters.
  • A PhD / Postdoc or equivalent industry experience in Computer Vision, Computational Image Processing or similar area.
  • Strong research background including publications or demonstrable projects in computer vision algorithm design and development. Further experience in clinical applications of computer vision would be highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience with C++ software development.
  • Further exposure to a few of the following would be desirable: OpenGL / WebGL; Python / JavaScript; CUDA; Tensorflow; image registrations and segmentations; 3D visualisations; cloud computing.

This is a small, dedicated engineering and scientific team with strong commercial links within medical markets. They provide a supportive work environment, outside city confines, with close rail (about 1.5 miles away) and road links. An excellent remuneration package is available.
