Hardware / Scientific Lab Manager (25005)

A Lab Manager is sought to be responsible for the organisation and running of dedicated test laboratories for hardware and medical devices. They are keen to use your background and experience in health and safety, quality and project management to run these workshops and labs. These support the development of engineering projects. Key responsibilities will include: day-to-day running of the test labs including a mammalian tissue handling facility; routine lab inspections and audits for health and safety, and compliance; risk assessments; procedure documentation; training; and equipment / consumables.

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering, science or similar.
• Experience in running laboratories.
• Experience working in hazardous substances, mammalian tissues and pharmaceutical products.
• Experience in risk analysis and audits of procedures and lab equipment.
• Ideally exposure in working to ISO13485 standards.
