Software Engineer, Low-Level Networked Video (25041)
If you’re a software engineer who enjoys working on low-level networking and audio-video streaming, this Cambridge company may suit you. They are a very Agile workplace, practising Scrum, and produce their own successful software and hardware, so you’re not just working on a driver or a small part of someone else’s system. Moreover, this role is consultative, prototyping new algorithms for use in next generation chipsets.
You’ll have experience and interest in:
- Switch-level managed Internet Protocol (IP) networking (data transfer, error correction and routing)
- Audio/video flow, routing, transport and error correction (such as via SMPTE ST 2110)
- High-availability systems and security (vulnerability, firewalls, intrusion detection)
- Rapid prototyping in low-level C++ code
You’d be joining an R&D product company with over a decade producing very successful products. They’ve moved with the times and expanded their product range. North Cambridge offices offer an easy commute and parking. It’s a full time position, but full benefits and flexitime are available, and as is a relocation allowance at their discretion.
