Field Applications Specialist (25138)

Become a key technical representative for this growing scientific company – attend conferences, tradeshows as well as at customer sites. You’ll be a main communications conduit between users / customers and the company’s development teams and sales teams. Within this integral role, you will provide key insight into features for next generation products, and demonstrate to new users the latest technologies. Your work week will be varied, and could include commercial activities requiring business travel or scientific tasks such as in-house research.

Requirements:

• Degree qualified in applied life sciences – will have some exposure to pharmaceutical research, drug discovery, or bioprocessing.
• Industry experience in scientific field applications ideally for instrumentation used in drug discovery. Other applications within a biological field would be considered.

Further, it is expected that the successful person will have: Good communication skills (including presenting, demonstrating and documentation); Be an independent thinker (must be able to problem solve, and act autonomously when required); and Travel extensively (up to 50% of the time).
