Are you a bright Electronics and Firmware Engineer with a passion for innovative product design?

This is a rare opportunity to join a successful company with a worldwide presence and make a real difference, seeing the results of your work in action - in real off-the-shelf products. The role offers a wide variety of challenge and responsibility, where you will support all engineering activities, but with a focus on the development of innovative products.

Specifically, the role will include:

  • Electronic design and development of new products and new variants to existing products
  • Firmware development in C
  • Algorithm development and sensor design
  • Liaison with colleagues through the mechanical design process
  • Preparation of proof of concept prototypes and their subsequent optimisation for production

You will be educated to degree level in electronic engineering (or similar) and have some commercial experience; you should offer proven board level hardware and firmware design experience involving microcontroller based systems. Some experience of whole product design and manufacture would be an advantage.

This a varied and challenging role in a growing company addressing the development of fantastic products. In addition to a competitive salary and company bonus, the role offers the opportunity to develop your electronics and firmware design skills within a group of enthusiastic multidisciplinary engineers. The offices are based just off the A14, with excellent transport links around Cambridge.
