Lead Scientist (Assay Development & Quality) (25198)

Through its in-house proprietary technology, this company is developing simple yet sensitive assays to detect rogue molecules that can be evidential for disease recurrence, population screens or potential treatment resistance. They are expanding their team and are keen to recruit a senior scientist with key commercial experience to join them in a lead role. Key responsibilities will include oversight of quality control and product development which can include regulatory frameworks as well as contributing to scientific publications.

Requirements:

• Good academic background (including a PhD) in biochemistry or similar.
• Extensive industrial lab experience in commercial development of molecular diagnostic assays (including design, verification and validation and regulation).
• Strong leadership credentials including expertise in molecular biology techniques as well as interpretation of data and ability to communicate findings to a range of technical and non-technical audiences.
