An electronics degree would help you tackle aspects of this role

As this start-up expands, they seek an Embedded C++ Engineer with a diverse set of skills across hardware and software. This small team allows you involvement in a range of activities; however embedded C++ will take up a large proportion of your time. To be confident in tackling these other tasks you probably will have a degree in electronics or some commercial experience designing a PCB. There are more experienced electronics engineers in the team able to provide guidance from time to time.

In summary you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Top engineering degree from a well-known and respected university
  • 3+ years of embedded C++ experience
  • Strong experience with hardware/software integration
  • Happy to modify or assemble a prototype PCB
    It would be a distinct advantage if you also have exposure to schematic capture and multilayer PCB layout (Altium).

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-funded privately owned start-up which develops highly accurate and robust MEMS devices, used across a range of industries to mitigate wastage and produce real efficiencies. The company offers an attractive salary together with a host of benefits, including on-site gym and café, annual bonus and flexible working options.
