Software Group Leader (25443)

In the world of data, this software visualisation company creates intelligent solutions to discover otherwise hidden connections and present them to their users. As the company grow, they are looking to put in place a Software Group Leader to manage a small team (up to 10 people) and be responsible to ensure the team have everything at their disposal to deliver well-engineered projects, unblock any problems, and provide overall team analytics to optimise engineering for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• In the recent past, you’ll have been a hands-on software developer (and probably still enjoy writing code when you have time) with experience in delivering web technology based products (ideally JavaScript).
• Currently you are a team lead with people management experience (ideally at least 3 years – could be in an unofficial capacity) including reviews, project management, project delivery and mentoring.
• Experience delivering sprint objectives and acting as a Scrum Master (stand-ups, planning etc…).
• Degree qualifications in computer science or similar.

The role would best suit a highly organised, Agile advocate with strong communication and project management skills who is team focussed. In return, there’s an excellent remuneration package, a supportive work environment, and a commute to centrally located Cambridge offices.
