Building transformative technology with global impact

This well-funded early-stage company is developing technologies for rapid biological health analysis using a multidisciplinary approach. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Applied Physicist to help develop their technology into a market-ready diagnostic device.

You will be working within a cross-disciplinary team of expert scientists and engineers, where your hands-on problem-solving skills and mathematical modelling proficiency will be crucial to achieving the precise control necessary for successful operation.

You will need to be a good all-round experimental physicist with a strong academic background and practical experience to draw upon. You will be happy designing and building experimental set-ups, getting involved in electronics, and carrying out simulations to enable rapid product development.

  • Substantial practical experience in developing experimental set-ups and building equipment to put theoretical predictions to the test
  • Expertise in applied mathematical modelling techniques in engineering, particularly the modelling of heat transfer and thermal control
  • Confident working closely with colleagues from very different areas of expertise

You’ll be joining a progressive, forward-thinking company who are genuinely contributing to people’s health and well-being - if you are seeking a role that will allow your talents to make a positive impact in the world, this role will be very hard to beat! On offer is an excellent salary and superb benefits package.
