Building control interfaces for the Internet of Things - actively hiring now

We are actively seeking a bright and experienced Web Developer to join an early stage but rapidly growing start-up in the IoT technology sector.

Your expertise in web technologies and user interface design would be instrumental in creating user interfaces to monitor and control large networks of IoT-enabled devices. The work will involve close collaboration with clients to understand their problems and requirements and to ensure that solutions are well-designed and intuitive for the user. As a key member of this small multi-talented development team, ample scope would exist to broaden your skillset by getting involved in other parts of their technology stack.

This company is located in pleasant modern offices in North Cambridge close to excellent transport links and amenities. This role will initially be on a fixed 1-year contract basis, with future scope for it to transition to a permanent position.

You will need:

  • A minimum of a 2.1 BSc. in Computer Science or another relevant STEM subject from a good university.
  • Substantial professional software development experience including JavaScript, HTML, CSS and PHP.
  • Excellent user interface design skills and a solid understanding of the use of design patterns and common frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Full existing right-to-work in the UK without sponsorship, time limit, or restriction.

Interested? Send your CV to ECM Selection; whilst we can only put forward the top few candidates, we do read every CV and try to respond to everyone. Or recommend a friend for £250, details at http://ecmselection.co.uk/tell-a-friend.
