Senior Software Engineer (25771)
Are you a software engineer with strong C/C++ programming preferably for both Linux and Windows environments?
This Cambridge based start-up is developing a leading-edge sensor for high resolution graphics applications. They are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to develop the system to prove the superiority of this new sensor. At times the graphics and sensor are run on Android based products hence there is the opportunity to venture into Android app development.
You will need to have a good degree along with some commercial experience of the following:
- C++ programming on Linux and Windows platforms
- All aspects of design and the full development life cycle
- Some understanding of Embedded C techniques
Experience of the following will be beneficial but not essential:
- Mobile OS especially Android apps
- Development of device drivers and working within the Linux kernel
In addition to your technical excellence, you will need good communication skills, to show initiative, make decisions, and operate in a team. This is a great opportunity to join a start-up based in Cambridge, with the benefit of share options along with a good salary.
